Frieda von den Donau-Wirbeln (Spain) had a great year, both in hunting and shows. She became Catalonian Champion and also had beautiful results: 3 x Best Puppy, 3 x Best Junior of Breed, 1 x Best of Group 1st, 1 x Best of Group 2nd, 2 x CCJ. Congratulations to her owner Carlos Calandria Pascual!

Karpaten Irbis Chocolate Chips "Baci" finished his Australian Championship with great style, by winning also Best of Group and Runner Up in Show. Last weekend was a fabulous one for our kennels, as our offspring had great results all over the world.
We have travelled with our home-bred and trained Christel von den Donau-Wirbeln to Germany where she passed the Solms test with a 1st prize, being led by Petru Didi. She was also judged in the conformation and she got a Formwert: V (Excellent) under DK Diepholz Klub.

From the USA we got news about Gulliver von den Donau-Wirbeln who passed the NA test under NAVHDA with maximum points and a 1st prize. Gulliver is only 6 months and a half old!
Eberhard von den Donau-Wirbeln "Viggo" from Canada had also a fantastic weekend winning 2xBest Junior in Show, 1xGroup 3rd, 1xGroup 1st, and became also FCI Junior Champion.
And last, but nor least, Karpaten Irbis Chocolate Chips "Baci", living in Australia with Valache & Sevoier Kennels won Reserve Dog CC and Runner-up Best in Show at the GSP National while his daughter Tori won Best in Futurity. Photos by talented Ffiona Erskine of Ffire Photography.

Great news from Canada from Eberhard von den Donau-Wirbeln "Viggo", owned by Marie-Christine.
At the regular show in Long Sault, Canada, Viggo won Winners Dog for 1 point. Later, the same day, in the Specialty Show of the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Canada Viggo won Winners Dog again, for another point. Then he made other wins: Best male in the Field Dog class, then won over the best female and won Best Field Dog in Specialty show and also won Best Puppy in Specialty Show. At the moment Viggo has 6/10 points in the Canadian Championship.
In the NAVHDA Natural Abilities test he got 106/112 and got 2nd prize. Not long ago Viggo obtained his Field Dog Junior title. Congratulations to his owner Marie-Christine for the results!

Duna von den Donau-Wirbeln, owned and lead by Mr. Kristian Thomsen from Denmark, got a 1st prize on a 20 hour old 400 meter long blood track and she also received a trophy for the best dog at the test.
Duna is the daughter of KS Conan Seehof and Lorelei de Valcreole, the parents of our "H" litter.

Great news from Canada: Eberhard von den Donau-Wirbeln "Viggo" - owned and lead by Marie-Christine Durocher - got his Field Dog Junior title, by getting the necessary qualifications in 3 consecutive tests in the same weekend, with excellent scores: 98/100, 95/100 and 98/100!

Saturday, the 16th of June, we participated at 2 dog shows in Sibiu with Christel and Elke.

Duna von den Donau-Wirbeln obtained Derby 1 in Germany. Duna also obtained a 2nd prize on the blood track. Duna lives in Denmark together with her owner Kristian Thomsen.

Today both Elke von den Donau-Wirbeln and Christel von den Donau-Wirbeln were lead by Petru Didi in the Derby test in Rehden, Germany. Both of them obtained a 1st prize! Elke is only 6 months old!!! We are so proud of our young girls!

3 days trip to London, visiting our dear friend Bambos and his lovely family and I returned home with this precious girl Otti vom Thüringer Zipfel. Otti is the daughter of Jogurt KS vom Hege-Haus and Nova KS vom Hege-Haus. She has a fantastic pedigree, with 55/62 KS ancestors on a five generations pedigree. Otti's titles are Derby 1 (all 4's), Solms 1 (all 4's), VGP 1, VBR, HN, LN, HD-A2.

Sophie vom Geestmoor has joined our team today. Many thanks to Dietrich Hollmann, Sophie's breeder, for his kindness and support. Sophie is a full Hege-Haus blood female, being the daughter of Goran di Dual Status and Charme II KS vom Hege-Haus. She has an impressive pedigree, with 53/62 KS dogs, and comes from the lines of the famous Yard KS vom Hege-Haus, Nougat KS vom Hege-Haus, Jogurt KS vom Hege-Haus, Ariel KS vom Hege-Haus and these are just a few names of her well-know ancestors, some of the finest Deutsch Kurzhaars in the breed history. Her titles are Derby 1 (4h in Nose, 4h in Pointing, Andreas Stern), Solms 1, VGP 1 (328 Points), Vbr, HN, HD-A2, VDH-Europajugendsieger 2009.

We just got back from Germany with great results. Conan participated in the 38. Dr. Kleemann - Zuchtausleseprüfung 2008. In the Zuchtschau he was V5 male (out of 58 present males) and he passed the water and field tests only with "4" marks. So, Conan became Kurzhaar Sieger, being the first dog from Romania to obtain this title and entering the elite of the deutsch kurzhaar stud dogs. We are very proud of him and we would like to thank to his trainer - Mf. Paul Seegers - one of the top trainers in Germany.
